Nineteen organists and composers contributed in diverse styles, with the romantic Dutch organ idiom serving as a recognizable common thread. In addition to preludes, the collection includes four- and five-part chorale settings that are practically arranged for accompanying congregational singing. Various arrangements can be shortened to a compact intonation, and several pieces include options for simplification. The book also contains transposed and arranged music from the tradition of Jan Zwart, ensuring the melodies align well with contemporary church practice. This edition, in traditional notation, comprises 416 pages.
