This dazzling work was commissioned by Het Muziekverbond van West-Vlaanderen and is dedicated to the youth orchestra Arlequino.
It is an effective and colourfully orchestrated piece that, after a short introduction, rushes through without tempo changes until the end. The chord blocks that characterised the introduction return at the end, thus giving this virtuosic work a sense of unity.
