The Medeli AKX10S is a comprehensive digital workstation for entertainers, keyboardists, songwriters, and producers. The instrument combines 61 professional touch-sensitive keys with a powerful sound engine, automatic accompaniment, extensive recording functions, and a clear 7-inch color touchscreen.

With over a thousand instrument sounds, 300 accompaniment styles, 256-voice polyphony, and generous expansion options, the AKX10S offers everything needed for complete arrangements, live performances, and creative studio sessions.

Professional PTK III keyboard

The keyboard consists of 61 professional, touch-sensitive PTK III keys. The sounds respond accurately to your playing dynamics, ensuring that soft passages, powerful chords, and expressive solos are rendered naturally.

With Layer and Split, you can use up to four keyboard parts: one left-hand sound and three right-hand sounds. This allows you to combine piano, strings, and pads, or divide different sounds across the keyboard.

7-inch color touchscreen

The 7-inch capacitive TFT touchscreen has a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. Via the intuitive interface, you can select sounds and styles, operate the mixer, adjust effects, and manage songs and registrations.

The display supports multiple languages and can show lyrics and other relevant information while playing. The brightness and visual theme are adjustable to your preference.

Large sound library and expansion memory

The AKX10S contains 1,133 instrument sounds and an additional GM2 sound set with 256 sounds. The collection includes pianos, electric pianos, organs, guitars, wind instruments, strings, synthesizers, and percussion.

You can store up to 500 of your own sounds. The internal expansion memory of approximately 768 MB provides space for additional samples and sound packs, allowing you to tailor the sound library to your own repertoire.

Automatic accompaniment with 300 styles

With 300 built-in accompaniment styles, you have a complete virtual band for various music genres. The accompaniment follows the chords you play and includes multiple intros, endings, variations, fills, and a break function.

In addition to the factory styles, you can save up to 1,000 user styles. With the Style Creator, you can create or edit your own accompaniments for specific songs and arrangements.

Extensive sequencer and audio recording

The sixteen-track sequencer offers space for up to 500 user songs. Use it to record individual parts and build complete arrangements step by step.

The audio recorder records directly in MP3 or WAV format. Audio files in MP3, WAV, and AAC formats can be played back. Features for Vocal Remover, Audio Tempo, and Audio Transpose help with practicing, arranging, and performing with existing audio tracks.

Microphone input with vocoder and vocal effects

Via the dedicated microphone input, you can connect a dynamic microphone. For vocals, an equalizer, compressor, 47 DSP effects, three vocoder modes, and three settings for vocal harmonies are available.

This makes the AKX10S very suitable for solo entertainers who want to control vocals, keyboard, and automatic accompaniment from a single instrument.

Extensive effects and real-time control

For shaping your sounds, the workstation features 45 reverbs, 76 chorus variants, and 48 insert effects. Additionally, Channel EQ, compression, D.A.S., Master EQ, and an extensive mixer are included.

Three assignable knobs, three switches, two pedal functions, and a joystick offer direct control during play. The joystick can be used for pitch bend, modulation, and more.

Performance memory and Phrase Pads

Complete stage settings can be saved in 200 banks, each with eight registration slots. This allows you to quickly recall sounds, styles, effects, and other settings during a performance.

Four Phrase Pads provide access to up to 180 factory banks and 500 user banks. Use them for riffs, chords, percussion, effects, or other musical phrases.

Bluetooth, USB audio, and traditional MIDI

Bluetooth Audio makes it possible to play music and accompaniment wirelessly from a suitable mobile device. Via Bluetooth MIDI, you can wirelessly exchange MIDI data with compatible apps.

USB-B supports MIDI and digital audio with a computer. Additionally, traditional MIDI In and Out connections, USB-A for external storage, stereo inputs, separate audio outputs, a headphone jack, and pedal connections are provided.

Powerful four-way speaker system

The built-in speaker system consists of two 12cm speakers and two 3cm speakers. The combination with 2 × 25 watt and 2 × 15 watt amplification delivers a powerful, clear, and balanced reproduction.

This allows the keyboard to be used independently during rehearsals, home use, and smaller performances. For larger venues, you can connect the AKX10S via the stereo outputs to a mixer or PA system.
