The Medeli SP4200/BK combines the feel of a digital piano with the extensive accompaniment options of an arranger keyboard. The instrument has 88 weighted and touch-sensitive hammer keys, 600 sounds, and 230 automatic accompaniment styles.

Full-fledged keyboard with hammer action

The K6 keyboard consists of 88 full-size weighted keys. The keys respond to the force of your touch, allowing soft passages to sound subtle and powerful playing to gain more volume and expression. The hammer action provides a firmer and more natural playing feel than a traditional keyboard.

600 sounds and 128-note polyphony

With 600 built-in sounds, the SP4200 offers a wide selection of pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, guitars, wind instruments, synthesizers, basses, and drums. The maximum polyphony of 128 voices ensures that complex chords, layered sounds, and accompaniments remain clear.

Layer combines two sounds across the entire keyboard. Split allows you to assign different sounds to the left and right sections.

Automatic accompaniment with 240 styles

The piano includes 230 preset accompaniment styles and space for ten user styles. The accompaniment responds to the chords you play and automatically adds drums, bass, and other instrument parts.

With intros, endings, fills, variations, and fade-in and fade-out functions, you can build a complete arrangement. This makes the SP4200 particularly interesting for solo musicians and keyboard players who want to switch to a weighted piano keyboard.

Songs, lesson functions, and Performance Assistant

The music library contains 120 songs and an integrated tutorial system. This allows you to practice timing, notes, and individual hand parts. The chord dictionary helps with learning and finding different chord voicings.

Performance Assistant offers special piano and guitar functions that simplify the execution of complex phrases, arpeggios, strums, and effects.

Recording and saving settings

The built-in sequencer allows you to record up to five of your own songs. Each song consists of a melody and accompaniment track. Favorite combinations of sounds, styles, effects, and tempo settings can be stored in the registration memory.

Suitable for home, studio, and stage

The stereo system with two 20-watt amplifiers provides ample power for home use and rehearsals. A separate audio output is available for connection to an external amplifier, mixing console, or audio interface.

The SP4200 also features USB-MIDI, traditional MIDI In and Out, an aux input, microphone input, headphone output, and pedal connection. With a weight of approximately 13.8 kilograms, the piano remains relatively easy to transport.
