The NUX 6ixty5ive Overdrive is a fully analog effect pedal from the Reissue Series. The pedal was developed for the clear, dynamic overdrive sound of American Black Panel tube amplifiers from the 1960s.

The 6ixty5ive adds transparent crunch without masking your guitar's intrinsic character. Low gain settings provide subtle tonal enhancement and light compression, while higher settings deliver more sustain and a robust, musical overdrive.

Analog circuit with JRC4558 gain stage

The analog circuit is built around a JRC4558 op-amp. This gain stage emulates the natural overdrive and compression of a classic tube amplifier. The result is a clear attack with ample warmth and dynamics for chords, blues licks, and melodic solos.

The response remains sensitive to your picking attack and guitar volume. This allows you to easily control the amount of overdrive through your playing style or with the instrument's volume knob.

Simple operation with additional saturation control

With controls for gain, tone, and level, you can quickly set the desired character and output level. An internal saturation trimmer offers additional control over the pedal's distortion structure.

Thanks to the true-bypass switching, the original guitar signal remains unaffected when the effect is off. The 6ixty5ive can be powered by a 9V battery or a suitable 9V DC adapter.
