Warm eighties chorus tones
The NUX NRC-1 Analog Chorus from the Reissue Series brings back the signature chorus sound of the eighties. Its fully analog circuit produces a warm, wide modulation that ranges from a subtle shimmer to a deep, almost vibrato-like effect.
Use the Analog Chorus to add extra width to clean chords, give arpeggios more space, or provide overdriven guitar parts with more movement and character.
Fully analog Bucket Brigade circuit
The pedal uses a traditional Bucket Brigade circuit with a 3207 BBD chip. This analog technology ensures a smooth, organic modulation with the warm character associated with classic chorus pedals.
The original guitar tone remains recognizable, while the modulated signal adds extra depth and movement. This makes the chorus sound musical and natural with both clean and overdriven tones.
From subtle shimmer to deep modulation
With Speed, you determine the rate of the modulation. A low setting provides a slow and wide effect, while higher settings produce a faster, almost vibrato-like character.
Width controls the depth of the modulation, and with Blend, you determine the ratio between the original signal and the chorus signal. This makes it easy to set up a subtle background modulation or a prominent vintage chorus effect.
True bypass and flexible power supply
The mechanical true bypass switching routes the original guitar signal directly through when the effect is disengaged, ensuring minimal impact on the rest of your signal chain.
The NUX Analog Chorus can be powered by a 9V battery or a suitable regulated 9V DC adapter with a negative center. The sturdy enclosure makes the pedal suitable for home use, rehearsals, studio recordings, and live performances.
