NUX DM-310H electronic drum kit with mesh heads
The NUX DM-310H is a complete electronic drum kit with dual-layer mesh heads, larger drum pads, and a freestanding 12-inch hi-hat on a real hi-hat stand. This makes the set feel and look more like an acoustic drum kit, while benefiting from the adjustable volume and extensive features of a digital drum kit.
The DM-310H is suitable for home practice, music lessons, rehearsals, recordings, and live use. The larger 10-inch snare and floor tom offer plenty of playing space and respond accurately to dynamic strokes.
Dual-layer mesh heads
The snare and toms feature dual-layer mesh heads. These provide a natural rebound and produce significantly less acoustic playing noise than traditional drumheads.
The 10-inch snare and toms have dual-zone triggering. This allows the head and rim to control separate sounds. The snare supports normal strokes, rimshots, and cross-sticks, among others.
Freestanding hi-hat
The 12-inch hi-hat is placed on an independent hi-hat stand and responds to the pedal's movement. This allows you to play open, half-open, and closed hi-hat sounds in a natural way.
The set also features two 12-inch crash cymbals with dual-zone triggering and choke function. The 14-inch ride cymbal supports dual-zone triggering and can also be muted by hand.
425 drum and percussion sounds
The drum module contains 425 selectable sounds. These are divided into 25 preset drum kits. In addition, ten memory locations are available for self-composed user kits.
With the built-in effects, you can further adjust the overall sound. The module offers a master EQ, compressor, overdrive, and reverb. The maximum polyphony of 81 voices ensures that fast and complex parts are reproduced correctly.
USB audio interface with eight channels
Via USB, the DM-310H sends both MIDI and eight separate audio channels to a Mac or Windows computer. This allows you to record the different parts of the drum kit on separate tracks in a DAW and mix them individually afterward.
USB-MIDI also makes it possible to control software instruments and virtual drum plugins.
Bluetooth and mobile recording
Via Bluetooth Audio, you can wirelessly play music and backing tracks from a smartphone or tablet. Bluetooth MIDI is available for connection to compatible music software and apps.
The 3.5mm TRRS AUX connection supports mobile audio recording. With a suitable TRRS cable, you can record drum sound and video directly to a smartphone, for example for drum covers and social media.
Expandable with an extra trigger
An additional drum or cymbal pad can be connected to the external trigger input. The input can also be used to expand the set with a second kick pad for a double bass drum setup.
Built-in coach functions
Various training functions help improve timing, dynamics, and rhythm. The module includes Accents Shift, Time Check, Quiet Count, and Change Up.
