The automatic recording mode is particularly useful when the pedal is on a desk or when you want a loop to start exactly at the first note played.

Six minutes of recording with unlimited overdubs

The NDL-3 records at 24-bit, 44.1 kHz resolution. The maximum recording time is six minutes, and you can add an unlimited number of overdubs. This allows you to easily build rhythm sections, chords, melodies, and solos into a complete arrangement.

The footswitch controls recording, playback, overdubbing, stopping, and erasing. This keeps the operation clear and straightforward, despite the extensive possibilities.

Eleven rhythm styles with Smart Tap Tempo

The built-in drum machine features eleven rhythm styles with useful patterns for practice and jamming. With Smart Tap Tempo, you tap in the desired tempo, and the rhythm automatically adjusts to it.

The volume of the loop and drums can be adjusted separately. You can also use the drum function independently, without first recording a loop.

Silent practice with headphones

Thanks to the 3.5mm headphone output, you can practice with the NUX Hook without using a guitar amplifier. The headphone volume can be adjusted separately, allowing you to comfortably play along with loops and drum rhythms.

Import and export loops via USB-C

Connect the NDL-3 to a computer via the USB-C port. With the accompanying Hook software, you can import and export phrase loops. The pedal supports mono WAV files with a resolution of 24-bit and 44.1 kHz for this purpose.

The USB-C port is also used for firmware updates. The pedal does not receive normal operating power via this connection; a suitable 9V DC adapter is required for use.

True bypass and analog dry-through

When the effect is off, true bypass allows the original signal to pass directly through. During use, the dry guitar signal remains outside of digital processing thanks to analog dry-through. This helps preserve the natural sound and direct response of your instrument.
