Versatile amplifier for home, rehearsal, and stage
The NUX Mighty 40 MKII is a digital modeling guitar amplifier for guitarists who want to use one amp for practice, rehearsals, recording, and performances. Its specially tuned 10-inch NUX G10-40W speaker delivers powerful and balanced reproduction of clean, overdriven, and heavily distorted sounds.
The output power is adjustable to 0.5, 5, or 40 watts. At 0.5 watts, you can practice at home at a manageable volume, while the 5 and 40-watt settings provide more volume and dynamics for rehearsals and performances.
21 dynamic amp models
The Mighty 40 MKII includes 21 amp models developed with NUX's TS/AC-2K White-Box technology. This modeling technology not only emulates the sound but also the dynamic response of analog amplifier circuits.
As a result, the amplifier responds naturally to your attack, guitar volume, and playing technique. The available tonal range spans from clear cleans and warm crunch to powerful rock and high-gain sounds.
43 effects with freely adjustable routing
The amplifier features 43 effects, divided into Gate, Compressor, EFX, Amp, EQ, Modulation, Delay, and Reverb blocks. The order of the effects is freely adjustable, allowing you to determine how the different parts of the signal chain interact.
You can extensively edit all effects, amp models, and parameters via the Mighty Amp app for iOS and Android or the Mighty Editor software for Windows and macOS.
Seven presets with three Pro Scenes
The NUX Mighty 40 MKII offers seven user presets. Each preset contains three Pro Scenes where you can store different amp models, effects, and settings. This allows you to quickly switch between, for example, a clean sound, a rhythm sound, and a lead preset.
The Patch Level function helps prevent large volume differences between stored sounds, making preset changes during rehearsals and performances more seamless.
Bluetooth, drum machine, and looper
The included NUX NBT-1 module supports Bluetooth audio and wireless MIDI control. You can play backing tracks from a smartphone or tablet and control the amplifier wirelessly with the Mighty Amp app.
The built-in drum machine supports automatic tempo detection. With the phrase looper, you can record up to 30 seconds and add extra parts as overdubs. These features are suitable for practicing, improvising, and developing new musical ideas.
USB audio and practical connections
The USB-B port is used for communication with Mighty Editor, digital audio transfer, and firmware updates. The aux input allows you to play music from an external source, and the headphone output enables silent practice.
The separate High and Low inputs make the amplifier suitable for guitars with different output levels. Additionally, there is a connection for an optional footswitch to control functions while playing.
