Professional guitar modeling for stage and studio

The NUX NME-5 Trident is a powerful modeling guitar processor for guitarists seeking high-quality amplifier tones, effects, and flexible connectivity in one robust unit. Thanks to its clear controls, the Trident feels familiar like a comprehensive pedalboard, while its bright display provides access to deeper settings.

Realistic amplifier and speaker simulations

The updated TS/AC-4K White-box modeling technology accurately emulates the behavior and dynamics of real guitar amplifiers. Two powerful DSP processors divide the work between the amplifier models and the other effects. This ensures clear sound and natural processor response to your attack and playing style.

For speaker simulation, the Trident features 27 built-in impulse responses with various microphones and microphone positions. Additionally, you can import your own IR files and adjust settings such as low cut, high cut, and volume.

Intuitively built like a real pedalboard

The effect sections have their own footswitches, knobs, and switches. This allows you to quickly toggle effects on and off while playing. Through the display and the SELECT and PARAM controls, you can adjust additional parameters, effect order, and preset settings.

Extensive connectivity options

The NUX Trident is prepared for diverse live and studio situations. The two balanced XLR outputs enable direct connection to a PA system or audio interface. Through the send and return connections, you can add external effect pedals to your signal chain.

A headphone jack, expression pedal input, and MIDI in and out are also present. This allows the Trident to become a central part of both a compact pedalboard and an extensive MIDI-controlled system.

USB audio interface and re-amping

Via USB-C, you can connect the Trident directly to a computer. You can use it as an audio interface for recording in a DAW and re-amp previously recorded guitar parts through the amplifier models and effects. With the accompanying editor software, you can manage and edit your sounds clearly on the computer.

Built for intensive use

The sturdy cast aluminum housing makes the NUX NME-5 Trident suitable for rehearsals, studio sessions, and regular stage use. It is a complete solution for guitarists who want to combine their amplifiers, speaker cabinets, and effect pedals in one versatile device.
