The NUX NSS-4 Pulse is a compact IR loader that adds convincing speaker cabinet and instrument sounds to your pedalboard. The pedal features three different modes: EG CAB for electric guitar, BS CAB for bass guitar, and AG IR for acoustic guitar.

Thanks to IR technology, you can connect directly to a mixer, audio interface, or active monitor without using a traditional guitar amplifier. The 1024-sample processing ensures a natural response and detailed reproduction of the chosen impulse response.

Loading your own impulse responses

Via the accompanying software, you can load your own IR files in WAV format. The program automatically converts suitable files, allowing you to easily use your favorite cabinet and acoustic guitar profiles.

The NUX Pulse supports stereo and can be set to true bypass or buffered bypass. This makes the pedal versatile for use at the end of almost any effect chain.

Silent practice and recording via USB

The 3.5mm headphone jack enables silent practice without a separate amplifier. Additionally, the NSS-4 can be used as an audio interface via USB to record directly into a DAW. This makes the pedal suitable for home use, studio recordings, and amplifier-less stage setups.
