Seven Characterful Delay Effects

The NUX Time Core Deluxe MKII is a versatile delay pedal for guitarists who want to use both classic and experimental echo effects. The pedal features seven different delay types: Phi Digital, Analog, Modulation, Tape Echo, Pan, Verb, and Reverse.

With the Time, Mix, and Repeat controls, you can quickly set the delay time, effect mix, and number of repetitions. For the Modulation and Verb delays, the alternative control mode provides access to additional modulation and reverb parameters.

From Warm Analog Echo to Spatial Stereo Effects

The Analog Delay is based on the warm character of a classic bucket-brigade circuit, while Tape Echo emulates the saturation and natural decay of a magnetic tape echo. Phi Digital Delay uses a second repetition based on the golden ratio to create rhythmically musical echoes.

For broader soundscapes, Pan Delay offers moving stereo repetitions. Verb Delay combines digital delay with plate reverb, and Reverse Delay plays repetitions backward for unique, atmospheric effects.

Smart Tap Tempo and Tone Lock

Pressing the footswitch twice activates Smart Tap Tempo, allowing you to easily synchronize the delay with the music's tempo. The maximum delay time via Tap Tempo is 1580 milliseconds.

Tone Lock allows you to save and lock current settings, preventing unintentional knob adjustments during transport or a performance.

Built-in Stereo Looper

Sound On Sound mode offers a stereo looper with up to 40 seconds of recording time. You can record, play back, and overdub parts. While a loop is playing, you can also switch to a delay mode without interrupting the loop.

Flexible Stereo Connections

The Time Core Deluxe MKII supports both mono and stereo use. You can connect the pedal directly to an amplifier or in the effects loop. The Kill Dry function also makes the pedal suitable for a parallel effects loop.

You can choose between true bypass and buffered bypass. In buffered bypass mode, delay repeats naturally decay after the effect is disengaged. The USB-C port is for firmware updates.
