Rocket

Rocket, written for drums and piano, contains all the elements a drummer at an easy to intermediate level should master. He or she will play a snare drum part, taking into account the independence between the snare and the bass drum; in addition, binary drum riffs will be interrupted by breaks and small solos; finally, a ternary part (in swing) will be introduced, as an introduction to the jazz style. This work gives drummers the opportunity to 'rocket' through the first years of mastering their instrument and shoot to the next level.
