Sire Marcus Miller V3P 4/TS Bass Guitar Tobacco Sunburst

The Sire Marcus Miller V3P 4/TS is a versatile 4-string passive electric bass guitar from the Marcus Miller V Series. This model combines the familiar J-style playing experience with high-quality Sire components, two Marcus Standard J Revolution pickups, and simple passive controls.

The Tobacco Sunburst finish gives the V3P a classic look. Thanks to its mahogany body, hard maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard with rounded Edgeless edges, this bass also offers a comfortable and solid foundation for a variety of playing styles.

Marcus Standard J Revolution Pickups

The V3P is equipped with two Marcus Standard J Revolution single-coil pickups. These pickups are designed for a clear and detailed sound with sufficient definition and dynamics for a wide range of music styles.

Fully Passive Electronics

Unlike the active versions in the V-series, the V3P is fully passive. You have separate volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups and a master tone control. This allows you to quickly and intuitively set various bass sounds, without a battery or active preamp.

Mahogany Body and Hard Maple Neck

The mahogany body forms a solid foundation for a full and powerful sound. The bolt-on Canadian hard maple neck adds clarity and a direct response. The comfortable C-profile makes the neck pleasant to play for both beginner and experienced bassists.

Rosewood Edgeless Fingerboard

The rosewood fingerboard features Sire's characteristic Edgeless finish. The edges of the fingerboard are rounded, making the neck feel natural and comfortable in hand. The fingerboard has a 9.5-inch radius and is equipped with 20 medium frets.

34-inch Long Scale

With its traditional 34-inch scale length, the V3P offers the familiar playing feel and string tension of a full-fledged long-scale bass guitar. The bone nut on this 4-string version has a width of 38 mm.

Marcus Miller Hardware

The bass features a Marcus Miller Standard Bass Bridge with the option for body-through stringing, standard open-gear tuning machines, and chrome hardware. The black three-ply pickguard complements the classic Tobacco Sunburst finish nicely.
