Informatie
P-bass with extra J-pickup
The Sire Marcus Miller P7 New Gen combines the character of a classic precision bass with the clarity of a jazz bass. The split-coil P-pickup provides the thick, sustained fundamental tone the P-bass is known for, while the J-pickup at the bridge opens up the high end. The North American alder body keeps everything tight and balanced.
Wider nut and stainless steel frets
The neck features the New Gen C-profile with Edgeless™ rolled fretboard edges and 2.4mm stainless steel frets. The nut is slightly wider than on a jazz bass at 42mm, which provides a bit more string spacing at the headstock — pleasant for fingerstyle playing.
Heritage-3 preamp with mini-toggle
The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp controls treble, mid with adjustable mid-frequency, and bass. Unlike the V-models, there is a separate mini-switch for active and passive, allowing you to switch without changing your settings. All controls are under aluminum knobs.
