Sire V7N A4 Marcus Miller New Gen 4-string active bass guitar mercury

Modern Jazz Bass with Heritage-3 Preamp

The Sire Marcus Miller V7 New Gen is the revamped version of the bass that made Sire famous. The North American alder body provides an open, balanced fundamental tone with a tight attack and a clearly defined low end. The New Gen version has been updated in many respects: a revised neck profile, stainless steel frets, and lighter hardware for better balance on the strap.

Edgeless™ Neck with Stainless Steel Frets

The neck features the new C-profile with Edgeless™ rounded fingerboard edges, allowing the hand to glide over it without sharp transitions. With a 34-inch scale length and a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, the bass plays familiar, while the 2.4 mm stainless steel frets hardly wear and allow for smooth bends.
