5-string banjo with a bright, direct sound
The SX BJ405 is the five-string version in the BJ40 series, in a modest natural finish. The okoume body with flamed veneer and the Remo head together provide the bright attack and good projection that are characteristic of a resonator banjo.
The short fifth string acts as a drone string and enables the distinctive roll patterns. This makes this model suitable for bluegrass, folk, country, and old-time music.
Comfortable neck
The nato wood neck with rosewood fingerboard plays smoothly and features white star inlays. The banjo comes with a padded gig bag, so you can immediately take it to lessons or rehearsals.
