The SX BJ454VS is a 4-string banjo that combines classic construction with a striking Vintage Sunburst finish. The instrument delivers the bright, direct sound characteristic of a banjo and fits perfectly within traditional folk, jazz, and other acoustic music styles.

The okoume wood rim and resonator feature beautifully flamed veneer. The closed resonator helps project the sound forward, while the Remo head and eighteen tension hooks ensure a bright response and even tension.

The nato wood neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 19 nickel frets. White star-shaped position markers give the instrument a traditional look and make the different positions on the neck easily recognizable.

A dual-action truss rod allows for precise neck adjustment. The combination of a bone nut and a maple bridge with an ebony top supports a clear attack and good transfer of string vibrations.

Vintage look and complete delivery

The glossy Vintage Sunburst finish highlights the flamed wood grain of the resonator. The ivory-colored fingerboard binding, white star inlay, and chrome-plated hardware complete the classic look.
