Classic ST Model with Vintage Look
The SX SST57-3TS from the VTG Series is a 4/4 electric guitar with a classic ST model and a glossy 3-Tone Sunburst finish. The combination of three single-coil pickups, a maple fretboard, and a vintage-style tremolo bridge provides a recognizable appearance and a versatile sound.
The guitar has a standard scale length of 648 mm and a nut width of 42 mm. This offers the familiar playing feel of a full-size electric guitar.
Three Ceramic Single-Coils
The SST57-3TS is equipped with three ceramic single-coil pickups in an SSS configuration. These pickups deliver a bright and direct sound that is well suited for genres such as blues, pop, rock, funk, and country.
With the five-way switch, you can select different pickups and pickup combinations. One volume control and two tone controls offer additional control over the output level and brightness of the guitar.
Maple Neck and Fretboard
The bolt-on neck and fretboard are made of selected Canadian maple. A rosewood reinforcement and a two-way truss rod contribute to stability and allow for precise neck adjustment.
The fretboard has a radius of 305 mm and features 21 medium frets made of nickel-silver. Black position dots provide a clear contrast with the light maple wood. The synthetic nut has a width of 42 mm.
Vintage Tremolo and Matching Bag
With the chrome vintage-style tremolo bridge, you can add subtle vibrato effects to chords and melodies. The closed set of chrome vintage tuning machines has a gear ratio of 1:15.
A white pickguard provides a classic contrast to the 3-Tone Sunburst finish. The guitar comes with Super Light strings in gauges .009 to .042 and a matching SX EB400/M gig bag.
