White Winged Flight

White Winged Flight was commissioned by Mozaïek, the cultural partnership between the Belgian municipalities of Bonheiden, Duffel, Putte, and Sint-Katelijne-Waver. The work is based on four notes derived from the first letters of these four municipalities. The title refers to the white-winged flight of a dove of peace, as it is a call for reconciliation and peace. It is a beautiful piece of music in which the positive message is clearly audible. As a lively and colorful work, it has much to offer all instrument groups.
